After you make that first sale to a new customer or client is not the time to relax and breathe easy – it is the time to really WOW them! You want them to say “Wow”, I really made the right decision. What you do after the sale may be just as important as what you do before the first sale.
Here are some things you can do to wow them.
- Send them a handwritten “Thank You” card
- Give an unexpected present
- Make an unbelievable special offer
- Make a thank you video just for them
- Make a donation to charity in their name
Give some thought to this and you be rewarded with continuing repeat business from your new client.
Be Unpredictable – Always show up and keep your clients curious about what you’ll do next. If you keep ‘em guessing they’ll keep coming back to see what else you’ve got.
The day you quit showing up may be the day your clients quit buying. Don’t let that happen. Be entertaining!
